Their immense greed have elected them eliminating the animals because of their skin, teeth etc. A research indicates that humpback whales that was found abundantly was killed by poachers for oil along with materials. What happened therefore could be that the fishes that were eaten through the whales increased this also disturbed the ecological balance. This may seem insignificant but it has a huge role to try out inside the ecosystem.
